How long is the lease term?
Lease terms vary based on the size of the fountain unit:
- 3-year lease for ½ to 1 HP units
- 4-year lease for 2 to 5 HP units
- 5-year lease for 7.5 to 10 HP units
When is payment due?
Annual lease payments are due once per year, with the first payment required at signing. The exact amount will depend on the fountain unit selected.
Do I own the fountain at the end of the lease period?
No, Water & Wetland retains ownership and will maintain, repair and replace the unit as needed.
What services are included with the fountain lease?
The leasing program includes full installation of the fountain, light set (if applicable), power cords, anchors, mooring lines, and a timer control panel. We also handle all preventative and reactive maintenance, winterization, and reinstallation each season.
Who is responsible for electrical hookup and controlpanel energizing?
Electrical setup is not included in the lease program. Clients are responsible for electrical service and energizing the control panel before installation. Our team will coordinate electrical requirements with your electrician to streamline installation.
What happens if the fountain needs repair?
All routine and unexpected repairs—excluding damage caused by natural events—are covered at no extra cost. If a manufacturer defect occurs, we’ll handle it directly with no added fees. Damage from natural causes (e.g., storms or flooding) will be invoiced separately.
